1. A study commissioned by the British Library predicted that by 2020 40% of UK research would be available in electronic format only. therefore, BL is launching a very strong program for digital library.
2. Blackwell's sale grew to £191m this year. It is one of the big scholarly jouranl publishers of the world. some of this growth in benefit and sale is due to 66 new journals they have added to their collection last year. Blackwell publishes 755 jouranls.
